What is the Leguano Attrekktive suitable for?

The Attrekktive is a barefoot trekking sandal for hiking trails, cycling tours, and active summer days. Cut as a unisex model, it is suitable for both narrow and wider feet – and is available in two versions.

Secure hold, individually adjustable: Two velcro fasteners on the forefoot and instep can be adjusted individually, and there is also a heel strap. The straps are softly padded to prevent chafing on longer tours. This ensures the sandal fits securely even downhill and on uneven terrain.

Robust for outdoor use: The abrasion-resistant upper material withstands rough surfaces. The thin LIFOLIT®-lg sole is flexible and equipped with sensor nubs – you feel the ground beneath you and still maintain traction on wet stone or forest floor.

Made in Germany, easy to keep clean: The Attrekktive is manufactured in Buchholz in Westerwald. After your tour, it goes into the laundry net at 30 °C and is ready for the next outing – avoid the dryer.

Can I wear the sandals with socks?

Yes, perfectly normal. The name "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not the bare foot.

How much space should there be in front of the toes?

Allow for 7–10 mm in addition to your foot length.

I'm wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I be aware of?

Sore muscles in your calves and soles are normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes daily and gradually increase. If you have existing foot problems or joint issues, consult your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Is the Attrekktive suitable for hiking?

Yes, it is designed as a trekking sandal for hiking trails and active outdoor days. The velcro fasteners and heel strap provide support even downhill and on uneven terrain.

Version black:

  • Strap lining:90% polyester, 10% elastane (softly lined)
  • Footbed:51% polyamide, 49% polyurethane

Version nature:

Both versions:

  • Sole:LIFOLIT®-lg, leguano's own barefoot sole with sensor studs (approx. 7.5 mm)
  • Heel:Zero-drop heel

The sole is common to both versions: thin, flexible, and equipped with small hemispherical studs that provide direct ground contact. It is slightly raised in the toe area. Two individually adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners on the forefoot and instep adapt the sandal to the foot shape, in addition to a heel strap.
Care & Cleaning

Washing: Wash at 30 °C in a laundry net (gentle cycle). Use delicate detergent, no fabric softener and no powder. Close hook-and-loop fasteners before washing.

Drying: Air dry, do not tumble dry.

Tip: Wash separately or with similar colors.
