What is the Hickies lacing system suitable for?

Hickies replace traditional shoelaces with individual elastic straps. You thread one strap per pair of eyelets, click it shut once – and then slip into your shoes without ever needing to tie them again.

Support without retieing: The straps stretch when you slip your feet in and then contract back into place. You determine how snugly the shoe fits when threading them – tighter or looser, depending on the pair of eyelets.

For shoes with eyelets: According to the manufacturer, the system works in any shoe with eyelets, regardless of brand or size. Slip-ons and sock shoes without laces are not suitable for this.
