What is the Leguano Lady Love suitable for?

A lightweight barefoot ballerina for the warm season – with a summer dress, for a stroll around town or for everyday office wear. Simple and femininely cut, it is designed as a spring and summer model and is therefore a feminine barefoot shoe for everyday use.

Versatile to combine: The understated, classic ballerina shape goes with jeans as well as with a dress. An elegant buckle with a small accessory adds a subtle detail without being obtrusive – so the shoe can be worn with many outfits.

Secure hold: The fine strap over the instep holds the ballerina on the foot without restricting it. Especially with a flat model without a heel cap, it ensures that the shoe stays in place when walking.

Natural walking: The thin, flexible Lifolit sole without a heel lets you feel the ground, and your toes have room in the forefoot. If you are used to heavily cushioned shoes, you will feel the ground much more directly here – which is intended with a barefoot shoe.

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, perfectly normal. The name "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much space should there be at the front of the shoe?

Plan for an extra 12–17 mm in addition to your foot length. For half sizes, it's best to round up (e.g., 39.5 → 40).

I'm wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Soreness in your calves and soles is normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes daily and gradually increase. If you have existing foot pain or joint problems, speak to your doctor or orthopedist before making the switch.

Can I wash the ballerina?

Yes, by hand with a little liquid detergent at 30 °C. It is not suitable for the dryer.
