What is the Leguanito Thermo suitable for?

The Leguanito Thermo is the junior version of the popular adult model. With plush lining, wool insole and membrane, it is suitable as a lightly insulated barefoot shoe for autumn and the transitional seasons – when it's already chilly in the morning, but thick winter boots would be too much.

Membrane keeps feet dry: The inner membrane protects against external moisture while allowing water vapor to escape. This keeps little feet dry even in wet weather.

Wool plush keeps little feet warm: The insole made of pure new wool (mulesing-free) retains heat and wicks away moisture. The plush lining also ensures a comfortable feel.

Velcro closure for independence: Thanks to the Velcro closure, children can put the thermal underwear on and take it off entirely by themselves. This saves time and hassle in the mornings at daycare.

The inner membrane protects against moisture and maintains the breathability of the upper material. The pure wool insole provides warmth and regulates the foot climate. The hook-and-loop fastener allows for quick and easy on and off.
Care & Cleaning

Cleaning:Wash at 30°C in a laundry bag (wool cycle or hand wash). Use wool detergent, no fabric softener or powder.

Drying:Air dry, do not tumble dry. Wash separately or with similar colors.

Can I wear socks underneath?

Yes, it can be worn with or without socks. Thin wool socks are recommended in cold weather.

How much space should there be in front?

Add 12–17 mm to the foot length. Round up any in-between sizes. Note: This style runs small due to the lining.

Is the thermal insulation sufficient for winter?

For mild winter days and the transitional seasons, yes. For really cold days, we recommend the Nicebare with its thicker plush lining.

Can I remove the insole?

No, the insole is permanently attached.
