The continued successful partnership between Michelin and Xero Shoes has now produced a true highlight in the form of the waterproof Scrambler Mid II WP hiking boot, which, in terms of grip, is like wearing mountain bike tires. The sleek Michelin Fiber Lite® sole, concealed beneath an embedded textile layer, offers unparalleled strength, flexibility, and lightness. Inspired by the mud-shedding lugs of high-performance mountain bike tires, it inspires unwavering confidence thanks to its impressive grip.

The Scrambler Mid 2 WP features several improvements over its predecessor: The upper features a new mesh that's even more durable yet breathable. The toe cap shape has been optimized for even better protection and comfort. Additional reinforcements have been added over the webbing straps to increase durability. The rubber outsole has also been improved and is now more resistant to wear and tear. Last but not least, the inner lining has been redesigned for a more comfortable fit.

The waterproof and environmentally friendly eVent® BIO technology keeps your feet dry and comfortable in all conditions. This 100% waterproof, bio-based inner membrane wicks away moisture and is made from highly renewable plant-based materials. Combined with a tightly woven, abrasion-resistant yet breathable mesh upper, you'll experience a truly dry and comfortable feeling on all your adventures.

Despite the appearance of a solid sole, this illusion conceals a sophisticated construction. A thin layer of TrailFoam™ provides additional comfort and protection on rough terrain, while the design retains the lightweight and flexible barefoot feel you've come to expect from Xero Shoes. At an average of just 283 grams per shoe (women's size 37.5), a pair of the Scrambler Mid II WP is lighter than a single shoe from most other manufacturers.
