Description

What is the OmaKing Merino Thermo suitable for?

Are you looking for an insole that is as thin as possible but still keeps you warm? At only 4 mm, the Merino Thermo is OmaKing's thinnest thermal insole – for barefoot shoes and conventional shoes alike.

Merino wool on the skin: The fine merino wool feels soft, provides reliable warmth, and wicks away moisture. The aluminum foil underneath reflects the cold from the ground.

Firm hold in the shoe: Unlike the classic Thermo, the Merino version has a latex layer on the underside. This keeps the insole in place, even during movement.

Wide and adaptable: Extra wide cut and easy to trim to the shape of your shoe with scissors – whether barefoot shoes or winter boots.

Specifications

  • Thickness: 4 mm
  • Made in: Estonia (handcrafted, Ritico OÜ)

Note: The additional insulation layer slightly reduces the immediate ground feel in barefoot shoes.

Scope of delivery: 1 pair of OmaKing Merino Thermo insoles

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to cut the insoles to size?

Yes, that's how they're designed. The insoles are deliberately a little wider and longer than your shoe size so you can trim them to fit perfectly with scissors (if your existing insole is removable, it makes a good template).

What's the difference between these and the Thermo insoles?

Merino wool instead of wool fleece, plus a non-slip latex layer. And at 4 mm, they're even thinner than the Thermo (5 mm).

Do they also fit regular shoes?

Yes, they are extra wide and can be trimmed to size. They can be used in barefoot shoes, hiking boots, and everyday shoes.

Is merino wool itchy?

No, merino wool is fine and soft. It feels pleasant against the skin.

Is the wool mulesing-free?

Yes, OmaKing exclusively uses mulesing-free merino wool.
