What is the Leguanito Aktiv Plus suitable for?

The Leguanito Aktiv Plus is a mid-calf boot for children who love being outdoors. The higher shaft protects the ankle on the playground, while hiking, and while playing.

More protection, same freedom: Compared to the Aktiv model, the shaft extends further upwards. Nevertheless, it remains flexible enough to allow the foot muscles to develop naturally.

Breathable and washable: The mesh upper allows air to circulate around the foot. After a day at the playground, simply wash at 30°C.

Suitable for year-round use: The Aktiv Plus is ideal for spring to autumn. For cold winter days, we recommend the lined Scippo.

The higher shaft provides additional ankle support without restricting freedom of movement. The mesh upper remains breathable.
Care & Cleaning

Cleaning:Wash at 30°C in a laundry bag (hand wash cycle). Use wool detergent, no fabric softener.

Drying:Air dry, do not tumble dry. Wash separately or with similar colors.

Can I wear socks underneath?

Yes, it can be worn with or without socks.

How much space should there be in front?

Add 12–17 mm to the foot length. Round up any in-between sizes.

What is the difference to the active version?

The Aktiv Plus has a higher shaft that wraps around the ankle. The Aktiv is a low-cut shoe. Both use the same mesh material.

Does the shaft protect against ankle sprains?

The shaft provides some additional support, but is deliberately kept flexible to allow the foot muscles to develop naturally.
