The Roll-Off® System
Roll-Off® is a sole construction patented by Richter. It keeps the outsole flexible so that the foot can work with you while walking instead of being guided in a stiff shell. This is exactly where Richter meets the barefoot philosophy.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes are available? We currently carry Richter in sizes 24 to 30. Measure your child's foot length while standing on both feet and take the longer value.
How much room should be at the front of the shoe? Plan for 14–17 mm in addition to the foot length, or 12–14 mm for beginning walkers. The removable insole helps with checking the fit from time to time.
Can my child wear socks in them? Yes, absolutely. The term "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement—wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop—not the bare foot itself.
Are the slippers washable? Not in the machine. Brush off dry dirt, dab stains with a damp cloth, and let them air dry—felt and adhesive cannot withstand a wash cycle.
