What is the Leguano Primera suitable for?

The Primera is one of leguano's original models: a sock shoe that feels like you're barely wearing anything on your feet. Whether as slippers, in the garden or on the go – the Primera is on in seconds.

Sock meets sole: The stretchy upper material extends over the ankles and protects your foot. You can roll up the Primera and put it in any bag – ideal for travel or as a second pair of shoes.

Versatile: Sports, leisure, office or garden – the Primera fits everywhere. After use in the mud, it simply goes into the washing machine at 30 °C.

Made in Germany: Handcrafted in Germany, over 99.9% vegan.

Can I wear socks?

Yes, with or without. The Primera fits snugly like a sock, which is why many wear it directly on their skin.

What size is right for me?

It runs small – order one shoe size larger than usual. For example, if you normally wear 39 or 40, choose M (40/41).

Can I also run in the Primera?

The Primera is well-suited for walks and light exercise. For intensive sports, we recommend leguano models with laces.

Is the Primera suitable as a slipper?

Yes, many use it as a lightweight house and garden shoe. The nubs on the sole provide good grip even on smooth floors.
Material & Construction
  • Upper material: 48% polyamide, 32% lyocell (viscose), 10% cotton, 8% polypropylene, 2% elastane
  • Sole: LIFOLIT®-lg – leguano's own studded sole (7.5 mm)

The material mix of polyamide and lyocell ensures a comfortable, sock-like feel. The upper material is stretchy and adapts to the foot, while the LIFOLIT® sole with its hemispherical studs provides a secure grip. Over 99.9% vegan.
Care & Cleaning

Cleaning: Wash at 30 °C in a laundry net (delicate cycle). Use a mild detergent, no fabric softener and no powder.

Drying: Air dry. Do not tumble dry.
