Description

What is the Xero Shoes HFS II Men's suitable for?

Designed for running on asphalt, the HFS II stays on your feet long after: on the way through town, during workouts, or on long days on your feet. At around 235 g per shoe (size 42), you are carrying barely any weight.

Grip on the road: The tread of the outsole is modeled after a tire and grips asphalt. According to the manufacturer, you will also feel secure off-road.

Low-profile, close to the ground: 8.5 mm sole with zero drop – significantly more direct than a classic running shoe with heel-to-toe drop. A thin layer of foam provides additional protection without cutting off contact with the ground.

Space for the forefoot: The foot-shaped toe box lets your toes spread instead of squeezing them together. The textile upper is breathable and therefore comfortable even on warm days.

In the package: 1 pair of Xero Shoes HFS II Men's, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Legal guarantee
EU notice: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The name "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much space should there be in the front of the shoe?

Plan for an extra 12–17 mm beyond your foot length. Measure your foot length while standing and compare it with our insole length chart.

Is the insole in this shoe removable?

Yes, the 3.5 mm thin insole can be removed.

I am wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Muscle soreness in your calves and the soles of your feet is normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes a day and increase gradually. If you have existing foot ailments or joint problems, consult your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Is the HFS II waterproof?

No, the textile upper allows water to pass through. If you need dry feet in wet conditions, a model with a membrane is the better choice.
