Description

What is the Doghammer Terrar Knit suitable for?

As soon as the weather warms up, the Terrar Knit shows its true strength: It wears almost like a knitted sock, just with a protective sole underneath. Handmade in Portugal, designed for the city, the office, and long summer days.

Pleasant foot climate: The open knit allows air to reach your foot, while the merino wool absorbs moisture and regulates temperature. It remains comfortable to wear throughout the day, even without socks.

Adapts instead of pinching: The upper is double-knitted and free of annoying seams. It molds to your foot – which also makes it a barefoot shoe for wider feet.

On your feet in seconds: Elastic laces and a flexible pull tab keep the shoe secure without you having to tie them every time.

In the box: 1 pair of Doghammer Terrar Knit, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Legal guarantee
EU notice: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The name 'barefoot shoe' describes the sensation of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much space should there be in the front of the shoe?

Plan for 12–17 mm in addition to your foot length.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the insole can be removed.

I am wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Soreness in your calves and the soles of your feet is normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in new ways. Start with 30–60 minutes daily and increase gradually. If you have existing foot conditions or joint problems, speak to your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Can I wear the shoe in the rain?

No, the open merino knit lets water through. A model with a membrane is better suited for wet days.
