What is the Doghammer Terrar Rock Wool suitable for?
The Terrar Rock Wool accompanies you on day hikes in low mountain ranges, city strolls afterwards, and while traveling. It is intended for everyone who spends time outdoors and wants to maintain the walking feel of a barefoot shoe.
Wool and cork for foot climate: Inside, merino loden meets an insole made from recycled wine corks. According to the manufacturer, the wool has a temperature-regulating effect in both warm and cold seasons.
Close to the ground: The highly flexible Vibram sole with a light tread provides grip and lets your foot do the work itself. The sole measures only 3.7 mm including the tread, and it features a zero drop: this allows you to feel what you are stepping on.
Fit that you adjust yourself: The lacing extends into the toe box. This allows you to adjust the shoe to your foot both at the front and back – for a secure fit even on longer tours.
According to the manufacturer, it is intended for light to moderate hikes. For high-alpine tours with heavy luggage, Doghammer recommends classic mountaineering boots.
