What is the Doghammer Terrar Rock Wool suitable for?

Whether forest path, trekking tour or the route through the city – the Terrar Rock Wool is a versatile barefoot hiking shoe for all those who want to be outdoors without sacrificing ground feel.

Grippy on any surface: The profiled Vibram sole from Italy gives you secure footing on rocks, gravel, and wet paths. With a sole thickness of only about 5 mm, you can feel the ground while still being protected from sharp stones.

Balanced foot climate: The "Cork & Wool Inside" technology combines recycled cork with merino wool. The result: dry feet in warm weather and pleasant insulation in cold weather – suitable for year-round use.

Robust and sustainable: The LWG-certified leather and reinforced rubber toe and heel caps make the shoe weatherproof and durable. Handmade in a family-run factory in Portugal.

How much space should I have in the front?

Add 12–17 mm to the foot length. For in-between sizes, round up.

Is the insole removable?

Yes, the cork insole can be removed and replaced if necessary.

Can I really hike with this?

Yes, the profiled Vibram sole provides grip on stony and loose surfaces.

Is the shoe waterproof?

No, but the leather is water-repellent. Moisture can penetrate during heavy rain.

Care & Cleaning

Cleaning:Hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Do not put in the washing machine.

Impregnation:Treat with a suitable leather care product if necessary.

Drying:Leave to air dry, not suitable for tumble drying.
