What is the Doghammer Terrar Wool High suitable for?

When the autumn wind picks up and temperatures drop, the Terrar Wool High is your barefoot shoe. The higher shaft made of wool loden protects the ankle and keeps you warm – without sacrificing ground feel.

Warm and dry through autumn: Loden from the Pomeranian Land Sheep is naturally water-repellent and warming. The continuous wool lining regulates moisture so that your feet stay dry even after hours.

Robust for everyday use: The flexible natural rubber sole provides grip on wet pavements, and the reinforced construction keeps wind away from your foot. At approx. 640 g per pair, the shoe remains comfortably light.

Sustainable and handmade: Manufactured in a family-run factory in Portugal from North German wool with a cork insole made from recycled material.

Can I wear socks?

Yes, with or without. The wool lining is also comfortable barefoot and keeps you warm.

How much space should I have in the front?

12–17 mm in addition to your foot length. For in-between sizes, it's better to round up.

Is the insole removable?

Yes, the cork insole can be removed and replaced if necessary.

Is the shoe waterproof?

No, but the wool is naturally water-repellent. In prolonged rain, moisture can penetrate.

How warm are the shoes really?

The higher shaft and the continuous wool lining keep you warm well into winter. For very cold days, we recommend thicker socks.

  • Sole: 80% natural rubber, 11% fillers, 9% binders – made in Portugal

The higher shaft protects the ankle from wind and cold. The removable cork insole made from recycled material complements the natural foot climate. Cork & Wool Inside for warmth without sweating.
Care & Cleaning

Cleaning: Let dirt dry and remove with a soft brush. For heavier soiling, hand wash with lukewarm water.

Waterproofing: Refresh the natural water resistance of the wool with lanolin spray.

Drying: Air dry – do not place on a heater or in a dryer.
