What is the Leguanito Nicebare suitable for?

The Leguanito Nicebare is the children's version of the popular Icebare winter boot for adults. With plush lining, water-repellent material and reflectors, it's perfect for the dark season – a real little polar bear for little explorers.

Warm and cozy: The plush lining keeps little feet warm even on cold days. The water-repellent polyamide upper protects against splashes and light snow.

Visible in the dark: Reflective elements on shoelaces and heel labels make children clearly visible on their way to school and while playing, even in poor lighting conditions.

Thoughtful details: A metal holder keeps the shoe tongue securely in place. The ankle boot (sizes 23–28) has four hooks, the children's boot (sizes 29–34) five hooks for a secure hold.

Yes, it can be worn with or without socks. Thin wool socks are recommended in cold weather.

How much space should there be in front?

Add 12–17 mm to the foot length. Round up any in-between sizes.

Is the Nicebare waterproof?

No, it's water-repellent. It repels splashes and light snow. However, moisture can penetrate during prolonged rain or deep puddles. Regular waterproofing treatment extends the protection.

How warm is the plush lining?

The plush lining keeps you warm in temperatures down to just below freezing. For extreme cold, wool socks are recommended.

Care & Cleaning

Cleaning:Wash at 30°C in a laundry bag (gentle cycle). Use a mild detergent, no fabric softener or powder. Hand wash shoelaces separately.

Impregnation:Treat with a high-quality waterproofing spray (e.g. Collonil) before first wearing and refresh regularly.

Drying:Leave to air dry, do not put in the dryer.
