What is the Leguano Scio suitable for?

The Scio is an uncomplicated barefoot slipper for anyone who wants to simply slip them on in the morning and go – whether for shopping, to the office, or into the garden.

Breezy throughout the day: The knitted polyester fabric allows air to reach your foot and dries quickly. Especially on warm days, you’ll immediately feel the difference compared to closed shoes.

Feel the ground, not the shoe: The thin LIFOLIT® sole (7.5 mm) gives you direct ground feedback with every step. The hemispherical nubs also ensure a secure grip on various surfaces.

Made in Germany: Each Scio is handcrafted in Germany. The upper material is over 99.9% vegan.

Can I wear socks?

Yes, with or without. Note: Short sneaker socks can slip while running.

How much space should I have in the front?

12–17 mm in addition to your foot length. For in-between sizes, choose the next full size.

Can the Scio also be used as a slipper?

Yes, many people use it indoors and outdoors. The nubbed sole provides good grip even on tiles and parquet.

Can I wash the Scio?

Yes, at 30 °C on a gentle cycle with delicate detergent in a laundry net. Afterwards, it will look like new again.

Upper: 100% polyester – breathable knit fabric that adapts to the shape of the foot
Insole: 51% polyamide, 49% polyurethane
Sole: LIFOLIT®-lg – leguano's own studded sole (7.5 mm)

The hemispherical studs of the LIFOLIT® sole move 360° flexibly with your foot and do not block each other. This ensures a large contact surface and noticeable ground contact.

Care & Cleaning

Cleaning: Wash at 30 °C in a laundry net (delicate cycle). Use liquid detergent, no fabric softener or powder.

Drying: Air dry. Do not tumble dry.
