What is the OmaKing Kaku suitable for?

The OmaKing Kaku, made from natural wool felt, is a barefoot slipper for children that is equally at home in daycares, kindergartens, and at home. The wide toe box allows little feet to move naturally.

Easy to put on, safe to walk in: The Velcro fastener can be operated even by small hands. The leather tab at the heel helps with taking them off. The thin, flexible PU sole provides non-slip grip on smooth floors.

Natural and breathable: Wool felt regulates temperature and ensures that children's feet don't sweat. Handmade in Estonia.

Important note: If your child is not used to barefoot shoes, muscle soreness may occur initially. For existing foot problems, we recommend seeking medical advice before switching.

Can my child wear socks with them?

Yes, it is possible to wear them with or without socks.

How much space should there be at the front?

14-17 mm in addition to foot length. For toddlers, 12-14 mm is sufficient.

Are the slippers washable?

Yes, at 30 °C on a wool wash cycle in a laundry net. Use wool detergent.

Do the shoes keep warm enough?

The wool felt version is moderately warm and suitable for spring, autumn and heated rooms. For colder floors, we recommend the version with lamb's wool lining.

Handmade in Estonia by OmaKing. The wide toe box gives little toes room to move freely. The hook-and-loop fastener ensures that the shoe stays securely on even during active play.
Care & Cleaning

Cleaning: Wash by hand or on a wool cycle at 30°C in a laundry net. Use wool detergent, no fabric softener.

Drying: Air dry. Do not tumble dry and do not place on a heater. Pilling can be removed with a lint shaver.
