Description

What is the Richter Fun suitable for?

A barefoot slipper for children, designed for the day at home and hours at daycare.

Toes have room: The wide toe box leaves the forefoot undisturbed, while the flexible sole gives way with every step. The foot works on its own instead of being guided – and that in the place where children spend most of their day.

Upper material made of recycled felt: Richter manufactures the upper material from recycled felt, and the slipper is also lined with felt. The thermo rubber outsole remains thin enough that the ground remains perceptible under the feet.

Your child puts it on by themselves: The hook-and-loop fastener can be opened and closed with one hand. The insole is removable – this way, you can check in between how much space is left at the front.

In the package: 1 pair of Richter Fun, packed in our plastic-free outer packaging.

Legal guarantee
EU notice: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child wear socks with these slippers?

Yes, absolutely. The term “barefoot shoe” describes the sensation of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much room should there be at the front of the slipper?

Plan for 14–17 mm in addition to the foot length (for early walkers: 12–14 mm).

Is the insole of this slipper removable?

Yes, the insole can be removed.

What should I look out for when my child switches to barefoot shoes?

Children usually adapt to barefoot shoes faster than adults because their foot muscles have not yet atrophied. Nevertheless, introduce them gradually and speak to a pediatrician or orthopedist if you notice anything unusual.

Is the slipper suitable for daycare?

Yes, that is what it is intended for: Richter classifies it as an indoor slipper. Thanks to the Velcro fastener, your child can put them on by themselves.
