What is the Sealskinz Raynham suitable for?
The Raynham is Sealskinz's mid-length all-weather sock – for those who need more coverage than an ankle-length sock offers, without going for a knee-high one.
More protection thanks to a longer shaft: With a shaft height of approximately 24.5 cm, the Raynham covers more of the lower leg than the Bircham. This helps in rain from above, on damp grass, or when hiking on hilly terrain where water often runs down into the sock.
Dry and temperature-regulated: The Aquasealz™ membrane keeps out external moisture while allowing perspiration to escape (manufacturer's information). The merino lining warms in cold weather and cools during activity – the Raynham performs from spring to winter.
No chafing, no slipping: Seamless construction, hand-linked flat toe seams and zonal elastic support ensure a comfortable fit that does not cause blisters.
For barefoot shoe wearers: The Raynham protects where barefoot shoes end – it also keeps out water that would run over the upper into the shoe.
