What is the Alpine Pull-On Kids suitable for?

For children who are out and about in winter: walking to school through slush, sledding in the afternoon, or digging in the snow until their gloves are soaked. Weighing in at around 181 g per shoe in size 24, it is a lightweight among winter boots.

Your child can put them on themselves: The boot is easy to slip into, even with cold or gloved hands. The elastic lacing is tightened with one pull, and the drawstring at the cuff keeps the snow out.

Warm and dry, even when standing around: Insulation and a heat-reflective insole keep feet warm when there is no running around. The seam-sealed XeroTex membrane keeps moisture out.

Sturdily built, yet flexible: The ripstop upper is designed for rough outdoor play. The rubber sole remains thin and flexible at the bottom, and the toes have plenty of room in the front – a children’s barefoot winter boot.

Can my child wear socks in these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The name "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much space should there be in the front of the shoe?

Plan for at least 12 mm in addition to the foot length. New shoes may have 15–17 mm to allow room for growth (for new walkers: the smallest size with at least 12 mm).
