Description

What is the Xero Shoes Alpine Pull On suitable for?

Designed for everyday winter use: the walk through fresh snow in the morning, an afternoon at a Christmas market, or a trip to the car in freezing temperatures. A size 37.5 shoe weighs 365.7 g – really light for a winter boot.

Quick on, quick off: Instead of laces, the boot has two drawstrings – one at the top of the shaft and one at the ankle. You simply slip them on and pull the shaft as tight as you need.

Dry feet in slush and snow: The membrane in the upper material is seam-sealed; the manufacturer describes the boot as completely waterproof. The upper drawstring prevents snow from sliding into the shaft from above.

Warm, without losing your connection to the ground: The insulated upper material keeps warmth inside the shoe. Despite this, the sole remains flexible, the heel is flat, and your toes have room at the front – a barefoot shoe with zero drop, just for the winter.

In the package: 1 pair of Xero Shoes Alpine Pull On - Women, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The term "barefoot shoe" describes the sensation of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much space should there be in the front of the shoe?

Plan for 12–17 mm of extra room beyond your foot length. In your regular size, this leaves enough space for thicker winter socks.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the heat-reflecting insole can be removed.

I'm wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Soreness in the calves and soles of the feet is normal during the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in new ways. Start with 30–60 minutes daily and increase gradually. If you have existing foot ailments or joint problems, consult your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Can I also go hiking with the Alpine Pull On?

The manufacturer categorizes the Pull On for everyday winter use and recommends the original Alpine for hiking. For longer tours on rugged terrain, that is the more suitable boot.
