Description

What is the Xero Shoes Nexus Knit suitable for?

Designed for gym workouts and your subsequent trek through the city: The Nexus Knit is a vegan everyday barefoot shoe that offers a sporty look while remaining flat and flexible.

Sporty look, flat construction: What appears to be a cushioned midsole is actually a flat sole cup that wraps around the upper. With a stack height of 8.5 mm and a zero-drop design, you stay close to the ground and can feel the terrain – all in a shoe that no one would immediately identify as a barefoot shoe.

Breathable for long days: The 3D knit upper is breathable and fits like a sock, while the foot-shaped toe box gives your toes room to splay. The lacing system keeps your foot in place, even when your workout picks up the pace.

In the package: 1 pair of Xero Shoes Nexus Knit, delivered in our plastic-free packaging.

Legal guarantee
EU notice: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The term "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero heel), not a bare foot.

How much space should be in the front of the shoe?

Plan for 12–17 mm in addition to your foot length. You can find the insole lengths in the size chart on this page.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the 3.5 mm thick insole can be removed.

Are the shoes waterproof?

No, the 3D knitted upper material is designed for breathability and is permeable to water. A model with a membrane is better suited for wet days.

I'm wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Soreness in the calves and soles of the feet is normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being used in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes a day and increase gradually. If you have existing foot complaints or joint problems, talk to your doctor or orthopedist before switching.
