Description

What is the Xero Shoes Pagosa suitable for?

A slipper for those who don’t want to walk around indoors in socks but still want a ground-feel: in the kitchen in the morning, on the couch in the evening, and in the autumn at a mountain hut, too. Weighing around 164 g per shoe in size 42, you’ll barely notice it on your feet.

Two ways to wear, one less decision: The heel can be folded down. Worn up, the Pagosa fits like a normal shoe; folded down, you can slip in and out in seconds.

Warm, without being bulky: The synthetic wool upper keeps feet warm on cool days. The thin rubber sole with zero-drop lets you feel the ground, and your toes have room in the front – a vegan barefoot shoe for everyday life at home.

Also for a quick step outside: The rubber outsole can handle short trips outdoors, to the mailbox, or around the campsite. It is not intended as a hiking shoe.

In the package: 1 pair of Xero Shoes Pagosa Men, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The name "barefoot shoe" describes the feeling of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much space should be in the front of the shoe?

Plan for 12–17 mm of extra space beyond your foot length.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the insole can be removed.

I am wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Sore muscles in the calves and soles of the feet are normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes daily and increase gradually. If you have existing foot complaints or joint problems, consult your doctor or orthopedist before making the switch.

Can I also wear the Pagosa outside?

Yes, according to the manufacturer, the rubber outsole is intended for short distances, such as running errands or for the campsite. It is not designed as a hiking or running shoe.
