What is the Xero Shoes Prio Youth suitable for?

A lightweight sports sneaker for active children in everyday life, at school, and playing outdoors — from the climbing frame to the school run to the playground in the woods. Weighing only approx. 179 g per shoe in size 34, it's barely noticeable while playing.

Freedom of movement for growing feet: The foot-shaped, wide toe box allows toes to spread, and the flexible sole follows every movement. This allows little feet to bend, flex, and feel the ground — a zero-drop children's barefoot shoe, just as desired for natural movement.

Secure hold through lacing and adjustable straps: Adjustable straps on the instep and heel are tightened via classic lacing — allowing the shoe to adapt to the individual foot. Reflective details on the heel and instep increase visibility in twilight.

Vegan and breathable: Mesh upper with synthetic overlays, completely free of animal materials. The abrasion-resistant outsole stands up to daily play.

What it is not: The Prio Youth is designed as a sports and everyday shoe, not as a waterproof hiking boot. The mesh upper dries quickly but lets water through.
