Description

What is the Xero Shoes Scrambler Low EV for women suitable for?

A versatile barefoot trail shoe for day hikes from forest paths to mountain trails, your walking commute, and summer days when you want light footwear. At 209.8 g per shoe, it's one of the lightest trail runners on the market.

Light enough for long days: The low shoe weight is noticeable whether you're commuting or on a low mountain range hike – your foot has less mass to lift, and your muscles tire more slowly. The polyester mesh is still robust enough for several seasons.

Flexibility meets grip: The Michelin Fiberlite sole remains flexible, allowing your foot to work instead of forcing it into a shape. On dry forest floors, marked mountain trails, and firm gravel, the 3mm tread provides reliable grip. A vegan barefoot shoe for versatile forest and mountain tours.

Toe room, zero drop: The wide forefoot allows your toes to spread out, and the flat sole supports a natural posture. Wearable for both beginners and experienced barefoot wearers. Not designed for high mountains and alpine terrain.

In the package: 1 pair of Xero Shoes Scrambler Low EV for women, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, you can wear them with or without socks.

How much space should there be at the front of the shoe?

Allow 12–17 mm in addition to your foot length.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the 3.5 mm insole can be removed – without it, the ground feel will be more direct.

I'm wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I be aware of?

Soreness in your calves and soles is normal in the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in new ways. Start with 30–60 minutes daily and gradually increase. If you have existing foot ailments or joint problems, speak with your doctor or orthopedic specialist before switching.

Can I wear it in the rain?

No, the mesh upper material lets water through. For wet weather, a model with a membrane is a more suitable choice.

Is the shoe suitable for asphalt and forest paths?

Yes, the Michelin sole works on both surfaces. Frequent use on asphalt will wear down the tread faster than pure trail use.
