Description

What is the Scrambler Mid II WP suitable for?

Designed for long days of hiking in rain and mud: a hiking boot that, at around 346g per shoe (size 42), is lighter than many classic models.

Stay dry through rain and puddles: According to the manufacturer, the internal membrane is 100% waterproof and allows moisture to escape from the inside out. The tight-knit mesh overlay remains breathable rather than trapping heat.

Grip on forest floors and gravel: The outsole is the result of a collaboration with tire manufacturer Michelin. Its mud-shedding lugs provide grip on forest trails, gravel, and marked hiking paths.

Free toes, flat heel: The foot-shaped toe box allows the toes to splay, and the zero-drop heel keeps the foot level. This allows for better ground feel than in a stiff model – a barefoot hiking shoe, not a mountain boot.

In the box: 1 pair of Scrambler Mid II WP, packaged in our plastic-free packaging.

Legal guarantee
EU notice: Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The term "barefoot shoe" describes the feel of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not a bare foot.

How much room should there be at the front of the shoe?

Allow for 12–17 mm in addition to your foot length.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the insole can be removed.

I'm wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I keep in mind?

Soreness in the calves and soles of the feet is normal during the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes per day and increase gradually. If you have existing foot complaints or joint problems, talk to your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Are the boots really completely waterproof?

According to the manufacturer, the internal eVent® BIO membrane is 100% waterproof and allows moisture to escape from the inside. The mesh above it remains breathable.
