Description

What is the Xero Shoes Scrambler Trail Low WP Men's suitable for?

Designed for day hikes in rain and mud, the Scrambler Trail Low WP is a low-cut barefoot hiking shoe for forest trails, gravel, and marked paths in low mountain ranges.

Dry feet in wet weather: The waterproof membrane keeps water out, while the gusseted tongue provides additional protection against dirt and moisture. The moisture-wicking lining ensures sweat does not get trapped.

Grip on soft terrain: The rubber outsole features larger lugs and provides traction on forest floors, gravel, and packed dirt roads. Caution is still advised on wet rocks and roots, as with any rubber sole.

Ground feel instead of a stiff hiking sole: A 10.5 mm zero-drop sole provides more feedback than a classic hiking shoe. The foot-shaped forefoot allows your toes to splay.

In the package: 1 pair of Xero Shoes Scrambler Trail Low WP Men's, packed in our plastic-free packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear socks with these shoes?

Yes, absolutely. The term "barefoot shoe" refers to the sensation of movement (wide toe box, thin flexible sole, zero drop), not to a bare foot.

How much room should there be at the front of the shoe?

Plan for 12–17 mm of extra space beyond your foot length. It is best to measure your feet in the evening while standing.

Is the insole removable in this shoe?

Yes, the 3.5 mm thick insole can be removed.

I am wearing barefoot shoes for the first time – what should I look out for?

Soreness in your calves and the soles of your feet is normal during the first few weeks – your muscles are being challenged in a new way. Start with 30–60 minutes a day and increase gradually. If you have any existing foot ailments or joint problems, consult your doctor or orthopedist before switching.

Will my feet stay dry in wet grass and mud?

According to the manufacturer, the waterproof membrane keeps water out, and the gusseted tongue provides additional protection against dirt. Water can still enter over the low collar when stepping into deep puddles.
