What is the Xero Shoes HFS suitable for?

Designed as a road running shoe, the HFS weighs in at around 224 g per shoe (size 42) – very light for a closed shoe with a tread.

Secure fit over the instep: Adjustable straps inspired by Huarache sandals run over the instep and midfoot, protected by a welded-on overlay.

Room for the forefoot: The toe box is foot-shaped, allowing your toes to splay. Without the insole, you get even closer to the ground.

Grip on the road: The outsole features a tire-inspired tread pattern and is built specifically to handle road miles.

What happens to the HFS in the rain?

It gets wet. The upper material consists of mesh without a membrane – in continuous rain, it is better to opt for a waterproof model.
